On Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, the Gothic lost a great friend. Prof. Frederick S. Frank, the pre-eminent Gothic bibliographer of our time, passed away unexpectedly. Those of us who love the Gothic tradition owe Prof. Frank a profound debt of gratitude for his tireless research, his scholarship, his editing of Gothic texts, and his life-long commitment to the literature we all love.
